DENVER (CBS4) – Visitors to the 16th Street Mall will be able to skate at Skyline Park next Tuesday.
The ice rink sits next to the clock tower on Arapahoe Street. Mayor Michael Hancock will kick off the opening with comments at 11 a.m. after riding in on the Southwest Zamboni.
It’s the third year for the rink to offer free skating to the public with the option to bring skates or rent a pair for just $2.
Southwest Airlines sponsors the rink.
